Choral Activities

Below is a description of the different fields of activities to which you can sign up as a choir, vocal ensemble or an individual chorister for the 2014 Edition of the Mondial Loto-Québec de Laval.

Note that you can sign up for more than one activity.

1. MAJOR OUTDOORS SHOWS

• - The Mondial will feature four concerts with renowned artists ;
• - 2 500 choristers and a symphonic orchestra will accompany these artists ;
• - Registrations can be made as a group (choir) or as an individual choriste ;
• - Participants have to be available for one entire day, must manage stress well and be fast-learners.

2. THE CHOEUR EN VILLE TOUR

• - Concerts held in Laval churches ;
• - 2 choirs or vocal ensembles per evening per church will showcase their repertoire in a 30-minute performance each ;
• - Concerts start at 7:30 p.m. every evening ;
• - Technicians will be available for a 30-minute soundcheck on the day of the concer ;
• - Open to all types of repertoires ;
• - Concerts are free admission.

N. B. The Production team will make a selection after the registration delay is over and reserves the right to choose the performance venues. If you have a preference as to where your concert should be held, please mention it. However, we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to perform there specifically.

SERVICES AND BENEFITS

Accommodation service

Different accommodation options are offered according to your needs. We offer our participating groups very affordable dormitories at Cégep Montmorency.

If you would rather stay in hotels, we could provide you with a list of partners with whom we negotiated preferential rates.

If you want to benefit from one of these two accommodation options, please fill out the section to this effect on the registration form so we can forward you more details.

Shuttle service

As a participant of the Mondial, you have the opportunity to reserve a shuttle to organize all your transport to and from the concert venues. If you wish to take advantage of this service, please fill out the section to this effect on the registration form so we can forward you more details.

Accreditation for choristers

All participating choristers will be provided with an accreditation when upon their arrival at the festival. This accreditation gives you the following benefits for the duration of the event:

• - Free access to the Laval Transit bus system
• - Discount on certain tourist attractions in Laval
• - And more.

2014 Souvenir T-shirt

Once your registration is completed, the Organization will send you a purchase order for the 2014 Edition Souvenir T-shirt. You will then be able to get familiar with the price list, payment options and delivery terms.
